Dhadi

Dhadi, also spelled Dhadhi, is someone who sings ballads using Dhadd and Sarangi, the folk instruments of Panjab. Dhadis sing in groups, or individually, and can be seen performing during religious ceremonies, singing ballads of saints and warriors. Their style of singing is distinct; their voices are deliberately loud, their messaging strong and their manner awe-inspiring.
Bring home these miniature Dhadis playing Sarangi. Highly detailed works of art. Reminders of truth, right, pride and of course, tradition.
