Basant Panchmi is a Sikh and Hindu festival marking the start of Spring. In the Harmander Sahib, Gurbani music starts with the Basant Raga. This continues till the first day of Vaisakh.
For the youth, this is the day to take Kite flying to the highest level. Sky is filled with colorful kites everywhere, especially in Panjab.
