Kotkapura - City of White Gold



Kotkapura is a historic city of Panjab. Guru Gobind Singh Ji came here during his war with the mughals.

Kotkapura takes its name from its founder, Nawab Kapura Singh. The word Kot means fort.

It's only 50 kms from Bathinda, 40 kms from Moga and 30 kms from Muktsar.

It is the largest city in the Faridkot District.

Kotkapura has Asia's Largest Cotton Market.

It is called the City of White Gold because of its large cotton market.

Things most popular about Kotkapura are: Railway Crossing Stop (Fatak), Dhoda, Atta Chicken, Green Dhaba, Fun Plaza and CNS Swimming Pool.
