Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh

Bhagat Singh, one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement doesn't require any introduction.  Born into a Sikh family which had earlier been involved in revolutionary activities against the British Raj, as a teenager Bhagat Singh studied European revolutionary movements and was attracted to anarchist and Marxist ideologies.

- After the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy he collected a bottle of mud wet with blood and used to worship it every day. He was 12 at the time.

- Bhagat Singh coined the phrase Inquilab Zindabad. It became the slogan of the India’s armed freedom struggle.
